About Us

Get to Know Us.

Little Green Book Events Ltd started as a result of 8 years of Events Industry experience across London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Our founder Bethan has a deep rooted passion for the events industry, but recognised how difficult it is to find quality, stylish suppliers who pride themselves in sustainable and ethical business practice. If it’s difficult to find as an events professional, it’s even harder for everyone else!

Little Green Book’s core values are making the process of finding quality eco-ethical suppliers as easy as possible. Whether you find yourself looking through our books to find suppliers for your wedding, a birthday or a corporate event, we hope you will find the process simple, enjoyable and inspiring.

REDUCE

Reducing our impact on the environment can mean many things to our suppliers. From reducing waste to using greener energy sources; less is often more.

REPRESENT

Sustainability isn't just environmental, it's about humanity too. Representing suppliers from a diverse range of backgrounds is one of our core values.

.

RECYCLE

Our suppliers are recycling champions! They both recycle their goods and buy recycled materials to promote sustainability and support our precious environment.

REWARD

Social sustainability is just as important to us at little green book. Many of our suppliers give a percentage of their profits to a variety of human and environmental causes.

A Little about Bethan, our Founder

Hi, I’m Bethan!

After working in event management for 8 years across award winning venues and national charities, I created Little Green Book to solve the problem of finding beautifully stylish weddings & events suppliers who are ethical and sustainable.

When i’m not hidden behind my laptop working on Little Green Book you can find me mixing up a Negroni cocktail on a sunny afternoon alongside planning my own wedding in 2021, or playing with our rescue cat River.

Here are some of my passion points:

– Feminist writers & poets, Rupi Kaur is #1

– Northern France, the sand dunes and wild beaches

– Animals! I’m a member of multiple animal charities

– Slow living, only buying ethically and sustainably made long lasting fashion and homeware

– Part time vegan, full time pescatarian

We practice what we preach.

For every supplier that joins us as a paying customer with an annual Green Queen plan, we donate £5 to The Bee Cause campaign at Friends of the Earth.

How is little green book sustainable?

This very website that you find yourself on is powered by 300% wind energy. This means we are a carbon negative website, with our site host sending two times the energy we use back to the grid; offsetting our carbon footprint.

What’s more, our office runs on 100% electric from green energy providers.

Copy of It is one world. And it's in our care. For the first time in the history of humanity, for the first time in 500 milion years, one species has the future in the palm of it's hands.
