We know how much you care about sustainability in your business. What is your number one sustainable tip for wedding planning?
Wedding favours should be either something you can eat, drink or plant. Have biscuits, macarons or sweets wrapped in pretty paper or card boxes; make up small glass bottles of gin or flavoured oils, or go for packets of seeds or seed bombs.
Mix & Match
Mixed combination cakes are massively on the rise, where one tier is iced in fondant, the next tier is a buttercream finished cake, or is a naked cake, and then chocolate drips are being used to finish.
Boho is here to stay
At least for 2020
Cake styles are becoming a lot less formal and the boho trend is taking hold, I think we shall see less structured styles and a heavy use of fresh and dried flowers as decoration. The bohemian trend is certainly set to stay for 2020.
Sweet treats are evolving and there’s so much more on offer than a standard wedding cake. Dessert tables offer the chance to have some fun with creative sweet treats. Donut walls are also still a popular choice for couples, and marble print macarons and biscuits add a playful element to any dessert table.
